Jelly Jammer is split into three rooms. Tap a jelly to make sound, design
your own jellies, then stitch them into a song. Here's how each room works.
Play notes by tapping jellies.
- Tap the jelly pads to play notes. Each pad is a different pitch.
- Pick which jelly to play from the row at the top — choose a built-in
one or any jelly you've made in the Jelly Lab.
- Simple mode uses friendly notes only, so nothing ever sounds
wrong. Turn on Advanced mode in Settings to unlock the full
scale with every note.
Tip: Tap the big jelly on the home screen too — it
plays a little tune all on its own.
Design your own sounds.
- Tap the jelly at the top to hear your sound at any time.
- Choose a shape to change the basic character of the sound,
from soft and round to bright and buzzy.
- Slide the controls to change how the sound starts, how long it rings
out, and its colour and feel.
- Give your jelly a name and save it. Saved jellies show up in the Jam
room and the Jam Factory.
Tip: There's no way to break it — slide things
around and listen until you like what you hear.
Build a whole song.
- Tap squares in the grid to switch beats on and off. Playing left to
right, the song loops around and around.
- Add different drums — kick, snare, hi-hat, toms, congas, bongos,
cowbell, cymbal, triangle and tambourine — each in its own colour.
- Press Play to hear it, and change the speed (tempo) to make it
slower or faster.
- Work in blocks (sections) and name them, so you can build a
longer song piece by piece.
- Save your song. Saved songs appear on the home screen so you can open
them again later.
Tip: Start with a kick on every few beats, then add
a snare and a hi-hat to find a groove.
Keep your work and pass it on.
- Everything you make is saved right on your device — no account
needed.
- You can export or share a song file using your device's normal share
options, and a friend can open it in their own Jelly Jammer.

- Advanced mode unlocks the full set of notes in the Jam room
for older kids and grown-ups who want more range.
